This September 13th, you are cordially invited to share an evening with Shelly Phelps as she debuts her new band, Shelly Phelps and The Storm. The celebrated Oklahoma City vocalist will be joined on stage with guitar virtuoso Than Medlam, Jeff Holmes on drums and Donald Hecker holding down the low end on bass. In this evening filled with beautiful beginnings, The Jipsi Caravan Experience will be opening up for The Storm, adding to this unforgettable night! The JCE is the full-band lineup of Jipsi, a local OKC psychedelic rock duo comprised of ACM alumni, Andy Hopkins, and Miche’la Creel. The full lineup consists of Jayce Green on keys, Eric Ahtone on bass, Lynsey Bright on synthesizer and Thomas Hurd on drums.
The evening will also be marked by appearances from local artists Nora Bray and Ali Harter. The event will be held at the historical VZD’s Restaurant & Bar. It is a night open to the public of all ages with no admission for entry. The doors to this one night only event open at 7:30 pm.
